What You'll Do.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments
Provide personal care and general nursing care
Ensure delivery of care and services to residents
Supervise self-administered medication
Count and sign narcotics
Order necessary medication and treatments
Notify supervisor of low medication supply
Receive and verify medication accuracy
Store medications properly
Date opened medication vials
Inspect medications for expiration
Compare current MARs to new MARs
Remove discontinued medication
Provide personal care including bathing and grooming
Document information in daily log
Answer resident calls and assist with needs
Clean medicine carts daily
Deep clean medicine carts weekly
Attend and participate in staff training
Maintain accurate records
Prepare medical charts for new admissions
Ensure medical record is complete
