What They're Looking For.

Must Have

ability to read/interpret PCBA schematics, cable drawings, and test procedures independently, Experience with prototype electro-mechanical hardware (PCBAs, cables, harnesses, robotic/vehicle systems), Hands-on skills: soldering, crimping, rework, cable assembly to IPC, familiarity with electrical components, connectors, tools, and test equipment, Solid grasp of fundamental electrical engineering concepts

Nice to Have

3+ years’ experience as an engineering technician in a prototype or development lab

What You'll Do.

Build and test prototypes

and feasibility units under engineering guidance

and layouts to perform testing

and rework of PCBAs and harnesses

Fabricate custom test equipment

and procure and source components as needed

Operate and set up standard test equipment (oscilloscopes

DMMs) and perform PCBA/cable rework to IPC standards

Adapt plans quickly in a fast-paced environment with evolving goals
