More than 1 year of experience interpreting manufacturing blueprints, More than 1 year of experience mixing epoxy materials, More than 1 year of experience with the following types of hand tools (calipers, digital optical micrometers, depth gages, thread gages, go no go gages, etc.), More than 1 year of experience with aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, micro bonder, vacuum gauges and heat blankets

We have an exciting opportunity for a **Mechanical Technician B** to join our dynamic team in **El Segundo, California**. This position's internal job code is Spacecraft Mechanical Technician B. Our team is currently hiring for labor grade 15. **_Position Responsibilities:_** * Assemble, install, test, checkout and inspect mechanical spacecraft assemblies by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications, and written assembly, integration, and test procedures * Visually inspect mechanical assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly, integration, and test procedures * Operate a wide range of machine tools. Included but not limited to, drill press, grinders, chop saw, power, and hand tools * Mix and apply epoxy materials * Prepare and bond components to composite structures * Support other mechanical areas defined by Millennium Space Systems Leadership as business needs require * Perform incidental related duties as assigned or required **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.** **_Shift:_** This position is primarily 2nd shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.
