We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our Cryogenics group in an experienced level role to support technical activities and provide technical guidance for early career personnel. **PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** **General** * Provides expert technical support within Department and across TRIUMF as required * Applies knowledge/skills to a range of complex projects * within scope of group/department including coordination of maintenance, break fix, upgrades or projects * within a TRIUMF cross-boundary project under the broad guidance of scope leader * Responsible for objectives with potentially year to multi-year time frame which may impact multiple teams * Responsible for making routine and none-routine decisions related to project and team member roles * Work can include * Solving problems of diverse scope requiring advanced technical and analytical skills * Coordination of complex technical projects under the general oversight of a project leader. * Authors and Reviews documentation central to group or project objectives * Leads development of methods and techniques as required by group aims or pr
