What They're Looking For.
Must Have
7–12 years of progressive experience as a mechanical technician, Demonstrated ability to lead complex assembly and integration efforts independently, proficiency interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, work instructions, and assembly procedures, Hands-on experience with common measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, torque tools), basic instrument calibration, Working knowledge of basic machining, molding, and casting operations, equipment associated with each
Nice to Have
Associate’s degree, technical certificate, or equivalent military or trade-school training in mechanical technology, manufacturing, or a related discipline, Experience working under formal quality systems (AS9100, ISO 9001), cleanroom environments, Familiarity with environmental, vibration, or thermal-vacuum testing, Active or prior U. S. security clearance, or eligibility to obtain one
