Based out of our **Sidney, OH** location, you will perform various tasks related to the upkeep of the lab. You will provide input on optimizing work processes to improve the overall efficiency of the lab. **AS A MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL:** * Test and evaluate failure modes of compressors for new product development, customers, and existing product support. * Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment, mechanical equipment, and various computer-assisted machines and measuring devices. * Provide consulting and communicate technical information. * Entering data into CATS, Salesforce, Xfracas and Sigma. * Document assembly and inspection results completely and accurately. * Utilize hand tools, power tools, cutting, welding, and brazing equipment. * Utilize hydraulic/electrical/mechanical schematics and exploded view blueprints. * Collaborate and work in both a team environment and individually. * Follow Copeland’s safety policies and procedures. * Lifting to 30 pounds intermittently. **REQUIRED EDUCATION, EX
