The Facilities Maintenance (FM) Technician ensures the building's safe, efficient operation by performing preventive maintenance and repairs and events set-ups/breakdowns. Key duties include fixing general mechanical issues, responding to emergencies, and coordinating with vendors. **Key Responsibilities** * **Preventive Maintenance:** Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, plumbing, lighting, and electrical components. * **Repairs & General Maintenance:** Perform plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical fixes. * **Emergency Response:** Serve as a primary contact for, and respond to, facility emergencies (e.g., fire alarms, security, HVAC). * **Vendor Management:** Coordinate or supervise external contractors for specialized maintenance (elevators, fire systems, janitorial). * **Events Set-Up & Breakdowns **\- working closely with events coordinators and catering staff to set-up / breakdown events and functions. * **Documentation:** Log all work performed in a maintenance system, track inventory, and file reports on Corrigo Enterprise platform. * **Required Skills and Qualifications** * **Technical Skills:** Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. * **Tools:** Ability to use hand and power tools. * **Physical Ability:** Capable of lifting, bending, and working on ladders. * **Soft Skills:** Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. * **
