Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or closely related field, at least 5 years of related post-baccalaureate experience as a Systems Engineer, Avionics Engineer, or related engineering occupation, 5 years of experience in Aircraft systems component development, design, test, Demonstrating compliance with applicable regulations including 14 CFR 25. 1309, Performing trade studies to define aircraft systems configuration, Spatial integration of aircraft systems using CATIA V5/ENOVIA, Aircraft systems requirements development, validation, and verification using DOORS, Performing aircraft systems safety analysis per ARP4761, Development and management of complex engineering project schedules

The selected candidate will develop system requirements & define system architecture. **Position Responsibilities:** * Developing system requirements & defining system architecture. * Developing or reviewing hardware and software designs and associated interface specifications. * Ownership of component level design requirements (Source Control Documents). * Analyzing system performance through modeling and simulation. * Supporting the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups. * Performing and documenting analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. * Working with a worldwide supplier base to develop and implement system hardware, electronics, and software. * Contributing to supplier development, design reviews, test and production activities and directing suppliers to optimize integration and achieve product compliance and developing, verifying, validating and certifying designs through both laboratory and airplane testing.
