Mechanical & Structural Engineering Manager (K Level) **Company:** The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers Structures Capability is seeking a **Mechanical & Structural Engineering Manager (K Level) to lead a high-performing Structures Design team on the P-8 program in Tukwila, WA.** The successful candidate will have strong engineering expertise, ability to lead projects to completion, possess outstanding communication skills, an interest in growing and developing their team, and a demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships. **Position Responsibilities:** * Keep safety and quality at the forefront of all activities. * Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering. * Leads development of engineering solutions in support of current and future projects. * Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. * Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management, and leads process improvements. * Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports * Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. * Manages, develops and motivates employees. **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite****in Tukwila, WA.** **This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required** **To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process.
