Mechanical & Structural Engineering Manager **Company:** The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a high-performing **Mechanical & Structural Engineering Manager** to join our Integrated Design Engineering (IDE) team within the Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) division located in **Huntsville, AL.** This position will directly support the Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) program portfolio, to include the Boeing Patriot Advanced Capability 3 (PAC-3) Seeker and the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (ABMD) product lines. Supported programs encompass concurrent design, test and manufacturing engineering techniques as new upgrades to complex electro-mechanical assemblies are incorporated into production. **Job Description Summary:** Manages a team with a principal goal of executing flawlessly, supporting increased production capacity efforts, driving improved productivity, developing innovative solutions, lowering costs, increasing quality, growing a knowledge based product development system and developing our employees. Oversees and leads the development of new design/analysis processes and tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the team. Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements. Strategically engages with leadership, internally and externally, leveraging best practices to support program and organizational execution.
