Role Summary This job will mainly focus on the networking products, take the responsibility of design, development, and testing for all aspects of mechanical components, and have a significant impact on product innovation, cost, schedule, and features. Responsibilities Create, experiment with, and evaluate new product concepts. Improving designs on current products for longer life and more reliability, and testing products at field locations. Capable of troubleshooting and debugging prototypes and MP Product. Perform tests and conduct engineering analysis. Write analytical reports and good practice documents. Responsible for project deliverables, including the management of engineering budgets, schedules, and customer interfaces. Work with global manufacturing resources, procurement, and outside suppliers to meet UI technical, quality, and cost objectives. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 8+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience. 5+ years of networking product mechanical design and development experience. Expressed interest in mechanical engineering in the networking industry. Demonstrated aptitude for creative, “out of the box” thinking. Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn new things. Understanding of basic mechanics, material science, tooling, and manufacturing. Good root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills. Great
