Responsibilities Collaborate closely with Industrial Design (ID) to translate product concepts into manufacturable mechanical designs, ensuring design intent, usability, and cost targets are met. Lead mechanical design and development, including 3D CAD modeling (e.g., SolidWorks), 2D drawings, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA). Validate prototypes through functional, assembly, and reliability testing (e.g., drop test, thermal cycling, environmental testing), and drive design iterations based on test results. Work cross-functionally with Tooling, Manufacturing, Hardware, RF/Antenna, and Sourcing teams to resolve integration issues, optimize performance, and ensure seamless system-level implementation. Drive product development through all stages, including tooling, EVT/DVT/PVT, pilot run, and mass production, ensuring schedule adherence and risk mitigation. Define and control mechanical
