What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience, Minimum 8 to 12 years of relevant experience within mining and mineral processing related industry, understanding of quality management processes and systems, ISO standards and auditing processes related to major project delivery or program management, Functional knowledge of industry leading functional standards and engineering management practices in a multi discipline engineering environment including 3D data centric platforms, High attention to detail, commitment to quality outcomes, Ability to operate effectively and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts and technologies, Working knowledge of engineering, contracts & procurement, construction, commissioning, project controls, health & safety, environment & community and risk multi-discipline workflows and interactions for large capital projects, written and verbal communication skills, Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills including root cause analysis training

Nice to Have

Professional Engineering license valid in Province of Saskatchewan, underground mining considered an asset

What You'll Do.

Address mechanical technical queries

Address non-conformance reports

Perform walkdowns of construction

Complete surveillance audits

Perform field inspections

Issue quality incident reports

Communicate design changes

Leverage ICC platforms

Review installed quantities

Verify closure of punch items

Review turnover documentation

Confirm maintenance activities

Confirm inspection activities

Participate in site risk

Prepare field sketches

Prioritize activities

Manage time effectively

Attend contractor quality meeting

Review material receiving reports

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Link between Owner, Engineers of Record, and construction team; Communicate mechanical design changes with construction and engineering teams; Participate in weekly contractor quality meeting
