We are proud to be the steward of Canadian CANDU nuclear technology. ## **Your role** * Prepare electronic documents in AutoCAD; Sketching, three-dimensional computer modeling, drawings and construction documents. * Apply relevant Codes & Standards and regulatory requirements and coordinate with design team to ensure compliance. * Interface with Engineering teams, throughout the lifecycle of the design project (i.e., from preliminary and conceptual engineering to detailed design, implementation and close-out) to provide practical and effective solutions as per requirements. * Provide field support through site visits and inspections, ensuring adherence to design intent and quality requirements. * Revise existing drawings/3D models (relative to the discipline) from detailed verbal or written instructions, and/or marked up drawings. * Implement field change requests by updating models, drawings, and BOMs to reflect construction modifications. ## **About you** * College diploma or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 5 years in piping/plant layout/mechanical design and drafting. * Experience supporting field teams through site visits and inspections, ensuring alignment with design requirements. * Experience drafting site layouts and construction drawings for industrial sites, buildings and structures is required. Knowledge of new nuclear early site and facility design and drafting is an asset. * Working knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D is a must. Good to have Smart Plant 3D/Smart, Micro Station, Navisworks Manage and SolidWorks. * Ability to take marked up engineering drawings and incorporates changes into AutoCAD files. * ASME Code knowledge considered an asset. * Proficient in equipment and piping modeling, Abi
