What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5 years’ experience in AutoCAD drafting within building services and mechanical HVAC engineering design, proficiency in 2D AutoCAD drafting, Hands-on experience with Revit or BIM coordination, Solid understanding of mechanical building services systems, Ability to read and interpret engineering mark-ups, sketches, and specifications, attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality technical drawings, Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Nice to Have
Experience working within engineering consultancies or mechanical contracting environments, Understanding of relevant Australian Standards for mechanical services, Experience preparing tender and construction documentation
What You'll Do.
Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings
Produce drawings for concept design
Prepare mechanical layouts
Update and revise drawings
Ensure drawings comply with standards
Provide drafting support to engineers
Assist engineers in preparing documentation
Convert design sketches
Prepare equipment schedules
Support engineers with drawing coordination
Conduct internal drafting reviews
Ensure documentation is consistent
