* **6 month contract position, working on projects around Melbourne.** * **Due to a large volume of New build projects, we have a number opportunities** * **Great benefits - 2 RDO’s per month, competitive base wage, overtime available** **At KONE, we bring buildings to life.** Through our technical expertise and digital connectivity, we provide an essential service to communities around the world – keep people moving no matter what. **Our work will take you in different directions.** We have multiple opportunities **Mechanical Fitters** to join our high performing New Building team in**Melbourne.** You will be predominately working on projects within the Melbourne Region.**This is a 6 month contract position.** No two days are the same as you manage the equipment installation of KONE’s elevator products, across low-rise housing through to the world’s tallest skyscrapers. **What will you be doing?** * Installing Elevators & Escalators * Carrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards * Adhering to site milestones and programmes * Liaising with the Management team on site progress and activities * Working to actively maintain customer relationships in the local region **What are we looking for?** * 3+ years lift industry experience preferred but not required * Qualified Certificate 111 in Mechanical Engineering desired * Trade tickets desired- Dogging, Advanced Rigging * Leading hand experience in managing a small team of installers desired * Motivated and self- starter who can manage workload and competing priorities * Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality * A customer service mindset * Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team **There’s so much more to KONE than you may realise.** * Enjoy career progression opportunities within a global organisation * Access a range of benefits that engage and motivate our employees and help us make KONE a grea
