This is a contract position suited to a motivated tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship and thrives in a dynamic, team-focused environment. You will carry out and lead fitting, welding, assembly, and installation works both on project sites and within our workshop. This role requires a proactive approach to safety, quality, and communication while working closely with workshop and project managers, trades personnel, and QHSE representatives. * Perform general fitting, machining, and fabrication work (site & workshop). * Carry out on-site removal and installation of mechanical components. * Execute general shutdown mechanical duties and maintenance on fixed plant equipment. * Conduct flange management and mechanical assembly work. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. * Supervise and mentor Trade Assistants and Apprentices when required. * Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality. * Participate regularly in safety and toolbox meetings. * ### Requirements **Preferred Skills & Experience** * Swagelok and tubing experience highly regarded. * 5 years experience with hydraulic and water pumps, including hose replacement and servicing. * Strong communication and teamwork abilities. * Proven ability to maintain high standards of safety and quality. * Experience in shutdowns or fixed plant maintenance advantageous. * Previous supervisory experience advantageous **Licences & Qualific
