What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, Minimum 8 years of experience in Mechanical engineering design for building systems, Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale commercial or institutional projects, In-depth knowledge of Mechanical distribution systems, lighting design, codes and standards, and construction documentation, Proficiency with design and analysis software and BIM workflows, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels, Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Nice to Have
At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role, Experience with sustainable design, LEED, Fitwel, or similar certification processes is a plus
What You'll Do.

Liaising with client groups to ascertain project requirements and formulate proposals for delivery

Reviewing and approving design calculations
and BIM models for technical accuracy and completeness
Assisting in planning appropriate levels of design management resources
Advising on the project brief and managing the approval process
Notifying and liaising with the APAC Head of Projects & Head of Engineering and any other Senior Management regarding any escalated project issues
Notifying the project team where design issues may impact upon overall cost management of a project
Managing the appropriate documentation and sign offs take place at strategic times during the project
Providing consultative support as required to other business groups within client’s organization on any engineering requirements
Driving continuous improvement in design processes
and engineering standards
Reviewing and technically analysing relevant new product innovations
Regular liaison with the global engineering team advising on a series of global initiatives

This role oversees consultants and contractors, manages design deliverables from concept through construction, and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including architecture, mechanical, sustainability, and project management.
