Must Have
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with focus on process equipment, Minimum 8–10 years of experience within environmental infrastructure projects, preferably water or wastewater treatment, Middle East project experience is mandatory, knowledge of wastewater treatment equipment and plant operations, Experience with tendering, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and supplier coordination, understanding of mechanical systems used in water and wastewater treatment facilities, Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering interfaces, analytical and coordination skills, Practical and delivery-focused engineering mindset, Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams, communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
Exposure to European suppliers or projects is considered an asset, Fluent in Hindi or Arabic is considered an asset

Full Job Description
## Your Contribution Mechanical Engineering & Equipment Coordination • Review and validate mechanical designs and specifications prepared by consultants, licensors, and EPC partners• Coordinate wastewater treatment equipment including pumps, blowers, aeration systems, sludge handling systems, piping networks, and auxiliary systems• Support preparation of technical specifications, datasheets, equipment sizing, and layouts• Ensure mechanical systems are aligned with operational and project requirements Tender & Technical Support • Prepare and review BOQs, CAPEX estimates, and pricing support during tendering stages• Contribute to value engineering initiatives aimed at optimizing project costs while maintaining reliability and performance• Support technical and commercial evaluations of suppliers and subcontractors• Participate in technical coordination during tender and preconstruction phases Coordination & Project Integration • Coordinate with civil, process, and construction teams to ensure integration of mechanical systems• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders regarding technical deliverables• Provide technical support during execution phases including shop drawing reviews and coordination with site teams ## Your Profile Education & Experience • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with focus on process equipment• Minimum 8–10 years of experience within environmental infrastructure projects, preferably water or wastewater treatment• Middle East project experience is mandatory• Exposure to European suppliers or projects is considered an asset Technical Expertise • Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment equipment and plant operations• Experience with tendering, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and supplier coordination• Strong understanding of mechanical systems used in water and wastewater treatment facilities• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering interfaces Skills & Working Style • Strong analytical and coord
