As a Mechanical Engineer III, you’ll play a key role in designing mechanical systems for complex facilities while also taking ownership of project scope and mentoring junior team members. You’ll contribute across the full project lifecycle—from early concept through construction—working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, coordinated solutions. Core Responsibilities Design & Engineering * Design HVAC and mechanical utility systems for new construction, renovations, and process-driven environments * Perform engineering calculations, including heating/cooling loads, energy modeling, and system sizing * Develop construction documents, including drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and system layouts * Select and specify equipment and ensure designs align with applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.) Project Ownership * Lead the mechanical scope for small to mid-sized projects or major portions of larger projects * Manage deadlines, deliverables, and mechanical budgets for assigned work * Contribute to all phases of design, including conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction Collaboration & Coordination * Partner closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver coordinated designs * Participate in site visits, field surveys, and construction support activities (RFIs, submittals, punch list
