Full Job Description

**Job Summary:** The Mechanical Engineer II is responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components and has a significant impact on product innovation, cost, schedule, and feature sets. The position requires the application of engineering principles to the design of sellable and internal company products. **Duties and Responsibilities:** * Component and simple assembly design * Product development activities ranging from conceptual development, prototyping, and design validation to manufacturing and existing product support; individually and collaboratively * Collaboration with engineers of various disciplines to develop products with electromechanical and mechanical content * Mechanical drafting and technical document authoring * Conduct tests, design manufacturing fixtures, support senior colleagues * May include involvement in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of products as required to accomplish company goals * Provide guidance to fellow team members * Perform other job-related duties as assigned **Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field * 3+ years of experience working in a similar role * Experience designing components and simple assemblies using CAD software * Knowledge of product development processes including prototyping, validation, and manufacturing support * Experience creating mechanical drawings and technical documentation * Familiarity with testing, fixture design, and validation activities * Hands-on experience with fabrication, assembly, or troubleshooting of mechanical systems * Ability to support senior engineers on complex projects and contribute to cross-functional development efforts **Benefits** The starting pay range for this position is $97,000 - $105,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
