What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of professional work experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Demonstrated knowledge of component manufacturing processes, Demonstrated experience leading large system development projects, Proficiency using parametric solid modeling and CAD software, SolidWorks, PDM experience, making drawings, applicable drawing and tolerancing standards, Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills, reasoning ability, communicating in a collaborative team environment, seeking optimum solutions with other team members, Knowledge of the AGILE SCRUM methodology, service-oriented attitude, Ability to prioritize, stay cool in a dynamic start-up environment, verbal and written communications skills
Nice to Have
Previous automation industry experience, Previous start-up experience, resourceful innovative nature, ability to streamline or develop efficient processes, Professional experience with thermal and mechanical FEA, topological optimization, Ansys or Solidworks simulation, Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, Industrial safety system experience, A hunger for learning and personal growth
