What They're Looking For.
Must Have
degree in engineering, e. g. , mechanical, aerospace, optical, nuclear, or related, Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, commissioning in scientific facilities or in the aerospace, nuclear, laser, optics industry or similar, Experience in applying EN 1090 or similar codes and standards, Experience with INVENTOR / VAULT or similar CAD / PDM system, Fluent in English

What You'll Do.
test and commission mechanical and mechatronics systems for our experimental campaigns
Support our experiments on spot at national and international high power laser facilities
Work on projects both independently and in teams
using professional engineering concepts to develop practical and creative solutions to complex engineering problems
Create and maintain engineering documentation
Contribute with your experience to the overall experimental campaigns
Interact with external partners and team members
Interact and collaborate with our scientists to design experimental equipment and setups
3D-design for manufacturing of custom radiation diagnostics instruments
install and commission electro-mechanical components for the experiments
Maintain a digital twin of the experimental setups
Create and maintain the relevant engineering documentation
Support the science team in the preparation phase and during experimental campaigns
