Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience, 5-7 years of experience working as a Mechanical Engineer, Working knowledge of medical device standards and regulations or an ability to develop a working knowledge of standards and regulations, Proficient in adhering to Quality Management System (QMS) protocols, experienced in utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Nice to Have
medical device industry experience, Experience writing qualification protocols, mold validations
What You'll Do.
creation of mechanical designs
ensuring projects have a successful design and execution
Produces specifications for products
assists in selecting raw materials and components
builds models/prototypes of the product
Uses computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the product
Works with vendors to establish purchasing and manufacturing requirements and collection of specifications
