What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, 4+ years of relevant engineering experience, Licensed as a Professional Engineer, technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, industrial water treatment equipment, applicable codes and standards, including ASME, AWWA, and API, Proficiency with design tools and software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or PDMS, Excellent communication skills, Collaborative team player, Well-developed problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, Continuous learning mindset, adaptability to new tools, standards, and engineering practices, Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Working knowledge of COMPRESS or CAESAR

Support mechanical design of piping systems
Support mechanical design of skids
Support mechanical design of packaged equipment
Review detailed drawings
Check general arrangements
Check fabrication details
Select and specify equipment
Enter and manage engineering data
Ensure designs comply with codes
Perform engineering calculations
Review vendor drawings
Review technical documentation
Support manufacturing
Support field service teams
Participate in design reviews
Participate in risk assessments
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Engage with stakeholders
Resolve technical issues
