Must Have
Bachelor’s degree (B. E. /B. Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, 2–7 years of experience in mechanical design within the distribution or power transformer manufacturing industry, Solid understanding of IS, IEC, and IEEE standards, Knowledge of clearance/creepage, basic layout, and cleats lead arrangement, Proficiency in CAD software (e. g. , Creo, Inventor, CATIA) and FEA tools, Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Ability to collaborate with technical teams globally, Command of English, both spoken and written, Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, Excellent problem-solving skills and a analytical mindset
Nice to Have
Experience in winding design is an advantage, Familiarity with Microsoft Office and related tools is a plus
What You'll Do.
Prepare customer documentation
Prepare manufacturing drawings
Prepare bills of materials
Coordinate design activities within a worldwide network of factories
Participate in internal design concept reviews
Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations
