Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, 3–5 years of professional HVAC design experience, Proficiency in AutoCAD, Proficiency in Revit MEP, Proficiency in Trane Trace, Proficiency in Carrier HAP, Proficiency in PipeFlo, working knowledge of ICC/UPC codes, working knowledge of ASHRAE standards

Nice to Have

Knowledge of mechanical cooling topologies used in data centers, Familiarity with high-density and liquid cooling approaches, Experience with hydronic system design, Experience reviewing or performing CFD analysis, Understanding of how mechanical systems integrate with electrical infrastructure, Commissioning experience, Professional Engineer (PE) license, actively pursuing PE licensure, Experience authoring design narratives, Experience authoring basis-of-design documents, presenting design documents to clients, presenting design documents to stakeholders

Own HVAC and mechanical system design

Perform load calculations

Perform psychrometric analysis

Perform ductwork sizing

Perform piping sizing

Perform equipment selections

Model and analyze hydronic systems

Develop system models

Develop energy analyses

Produce design documentation

Apply ASHRAE standards

Integrate mechanical systems

Interface with vendors

Interface with contractors

Support construction administration
