What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Minimum 8 years of experience in the construction field, at least 3 years specifically in site engineering roles, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Excellent command of English language, both written and verbal, Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications, In-depth understanding of HVAC systems, FLS, plumbing, Storm water and irrigation systems and other mechanical installations, Familiarity with local building codes and regulations, problem-solving and analytical skills, Excellent project management and organisational abilities, Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams, Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, Willingness to work on-site in various weather conditions, Valid UAE driving licence

What You'll Do.

Assist Section Head in mechanical engineering projects

Ensure availability of technical drawings

Determine materials for mechanical installations

Ensure mechanical works meet quality standards

Review utility designs and shop drawings

Supervise on-site utility works

Resolve clashes between utilities and infrastructure

Prepare progress reports

Coordinate with Supervisors/foremen

Manage laborers and subcontractors

Coordinate with site PM and consultants

Track mechanical progress

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines

Conduct site inspections

Maintain technical reports

Review and approve shop drawings

Ensure compliance with health and safety

Participate in project meetings

Assist in commissioning and testing

Contribute to value engineering

Mentor junior engineers

Resolve construction-related issues

Monitor project progress

Handle Authorities like DEWA

Coordinate with in house Site Team

Perform related duties
