What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BS in technical field - Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (ex. Manufacturing, Aerospace, Industrial, Materials, etc), 4+ years' experience in mechanical, manufacturing, or quality engineering, Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, Perform activities such as typing, standing, stooping, and sitting, for extended periods of time, Willingness to occasionally travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call, Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, magnets, lead, high voltage, and cryogenics, Compliance with U. Nice to Have
Basic CAD skills (NX preferred, any acceptable), Expertise in AMSE Y14 GD&T principles, Experience in a production environment, Design experience of large industrial equipment, Design experience with any of the following: Composite materials, Welding, Vacuum systems, Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma principles, Knowledge of quality systems and formal RCCA processes

Join the power movement as a Mechanical Engineer We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to focus on the integration of design and manufacturing engineering. The successful candidate will be part of the team that implements first of a kind superconducting magnet designs into a production line. This role is part of the magnet design group and acts as that group’s liaison to production staff.
