Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Registered as either an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or a Professional Engineer (P. ### **Job Description** ## **Overview** AtkinsRéalis is growing and our Western Canadian Engineering group is seeking Mechanical Engineers to join our growing team in Winnipeg. Our engineers support the execution of a wide variety of projects by providing technical expertise and support for business development activities. Technical knowledge of mechanical systems in buildings, rail and transportation, industrial, or nuclear environments will set you apart. Our Engineering Services teams are located in Calgary, Winnipeg, and Vancouver and they are dynamic and tight-knit community of professionals, servicing local projects while contributing to large national and international projects as part of distributed virtual project teams. Our projects are varied and span Healthcare, National Defense, Light + Heavy Industrial, Transportation (Rail + Transit, Ports + Marines +Tunnels), Municipal, Federal (including Defense + Nuclear), and Institutional industries. ## ## **Your role** * Under the direction of a registered engineer, perform tasks related to mechanical systems design for design mandates of various complexity. * Support mechanical engineering design deliverables for assigned projects, including investigations, report writing, design and construction administration tasks under the direction of a registered engineer of record. * Ensure the quality and consistency, accuracy, and neatness of mechanical engineering deliverables as part of corporate QA/QC program. * Perform site investigations safely including travelling to site (including driving), walking around construction sites, carrying a ladder or other items (approximately 35lbs) around site and climbing ladder to access ceiling space, lowering self to observe mechanical systems low to ground, and committing to safety regulations and requirements. * Use software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office to prepare deliverables as required. * Review, understand and clearly communicate all relevant client
