4+ years mechanical engineering, Experience with DFx, Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechanical/mechatronics engineering, systems engineering or related field, Analytical skills, Attention to detail, Effective communication abilities, Experience working in fast-paced, highly cross-functional organization, Communicating technical concepts clearly, Experience in highly agile environment, SolidWorks or similar CAD experience, Best practices for part design, Advanced assemblies, Complex configuration management, Hands on experience crafting proof-of-concept models, Hands on experience crafting prototypes, Thorough understanding of technical principals, theories and concepts in hardware development, Ability to apply them to product design, Experience with full product lifecycle, Proficiency at completing tasks to meet milestones, Ability to support domestic and international travel

As an Amazon Robotics mechanical engineer, you will develop innovative hardware designs for our emerging robotic systems and improve existing hardware to optimize performance and enhance customer experience. The ideal candidate has experience designing/analyzing robots, enjoys analytical problem solving, possesses practical knowledge of high volume manufacturing methods and is a role model for engineering best practices. This position reports directly to the Hardware Development Engineering Manager.
