Must Have
Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience, 3D CAD skills for routing and packaged assemblies, Experience designing and building wire harnesses and connector systems, Experience running thermal simulations and validation testing, Understanding of common harness and connector failure modes, Hands-on experience with prototyping and electrical integration, Understanding of manufacturability and assembly methods, Comfortable working in a fast-paced, prototype-centric environment
What You'll Do.
Design and develop electrical interconnect systems for next-generation UAV platforms
Design and develop wire harness architectures and connector integration
and packaging within complex assemblies
Perform thermal simulations and physical testing to refine sizing and mass
and test harness prototypes and integration hardware
Identify common interconnect failure modes and drive corrective design improvements
Own subsystems from concept through validation: CAD
Collaborate with structures
and test teams to refine requirements and interfaces
Ensure designs are robust
