## Description Product Development Mechanical Engineer Location: Marietta, OH Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Compensation: Starting at $60,000 annually, with higher compensation available based on qualifications and experience. Position Summary We are seeking a Product Development Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and enhancement of electrical power distribution and protection products. This position plays a key role in bringing new products and product improvements from concept through prototype and production while collaborating with multiple departments across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical design, 3D modeling, prototype development, and manufacturing support. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative engineering projects while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. ## Key Responsibilities Create and maintain mechanical designs, engineering documentation, and product specifications for power distribution and protection equipment. Develop innovative design solutions that meet project objectives, customer requirements, and industry standards. Participate in formal design reviews, provide technical feedback, and implement design improvements. Design, release, and evaluate prototypes while supporting fabrication and testing activities. Drive continuous improvement efforts based on prototype and production feedback. Independently manage smaller engineering projects, coordinating design activities and deliverables. Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and service teams to ensure products meet operational and customer needs. Support product customization initiatives, engineering change orders (ECO/ECN), lifecycle management, and product optimization projects. Ensure design documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with company processes. ## Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering disci
