What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5 years of design engineering experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education, Thermal design and analysis, Design for manufacturing and GD&T experience, Mechanical (statics) and fluid analysis, Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) experience, Ability to design, build, and test prototypes, 3D CAD experience, Excellent problem-solving skills, Attention to detail, Communication abilities, Teamwork abilities
Nice to Have
Master's degree in engineering or higher, Test experience should, ProE CREO, SolidWorks
What You'll Do.
Provide design and engineering drawing services
Design and analysis of cooling systems
Analyze customer design proposals
and analyze machined parts
Compute and estimate loadings
Provide technical input to identify risks
CAD model development
Review CAD/Technical Data Packages
Evaluate/optimize manufacturing assembly processes
Create detailed mechanical design
Create a Bill of Materials
Conduct root cause investigation
Draft and contribute to test plans
Manage relationships with vendors
Keep updated with technologies
Propose potential R&D project ideas
Discuss with management and production staff

Work with your manager; Conferring with equipment vendors; Soliciting observations from the production team; Work with management and production staff; Comfortable working as part of a global team; Able to mentor less experienced engineers
