Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering, 1+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or control systems, Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering, PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace or Electrical Engineering, U. S. Citizen
Nice to Have
2+ years of mechanical engineering experience, Experience with control systems hardware design, Experience with change management, Experience with risk management processes, Experience with Root Cause Analysis, Experience with problem-solving techniques, Knowledge of RTCA/DO-160, Knowledge of MIL-STD-810 environmental testing standards

## **Job Description** **Job Description** The Mechanical Control Units Design Engineer will develop control system hardware requirements, then guide Rolls-Royce approved suppliers through the detailed design process to ensure that delivered hardware meets all technical and program requirements. The role will focus on aftermarket support of our control system hardware which may include field investigations, processing design changes and evaluating non-conforming hardware.
