As a Mechanical Commissioning Technician working with the LotusWorks team, you will be based on a client site within the Semiconductor sector at a state-of-the-art facility in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. You will be responsible for both decommissioning and commissioning of facilities equipment across utility and process systems, supporting the safe start-up, testing, and handover of mechanical systems in a live, high-tech manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for the mechanical connection and installation of process tools, supporting tool start‑up activities during a semiconductor facility ramp‑up. The role operates in a fast‑paced, schedule‑driven environment and requires close coordination with multiple trades and project teams. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the commissioning and de-commissioning of a range of Mechanical associated Live Systems, including but not limited to those listed below: Air Handling Units (AHUs) Chillers and Boilers Compressed Air Systems Scrubbed Exhaust and General Exhaust Systems Water Treatment Systems Industrial Waste Systems (IWS) Process equipment and associated mechanical services Tool hook‑up and turn‑on readiness activities Associated piping, fittings, and mechanical interfaces Work as a Mechanical Technician as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team supporting commissioning and de-commissioning a
