This position has the responsibility of performing routine preventative maintenance as well as performing unplanned repairs while supporting operations. _**Job Description**_ * Performs maintenance work, repair, and adjustment of equipment; change and replace belts, pulleys, sprockets, bearings, chains, motors and general maintenance on other specialty equipment unique to packaging. * Understands and can explain the purpose and operation of all equipment in the packaging area and makes decisions on appropriate troubleshooting and repair of equipment as situations warrant. * Diagnoses and repairs problems with valves, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. * Reads operating instructions and maintenance manuals to perform repairs. * Updates CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) with status and details of
