What You'll Achieve.
ensure engines are restored to peak performance, safety, and reliability; adherence to quality standards; Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety, Quality and Delivery objectives.
Industry & Context.
U. S. citizenship is required, FAA regulated facility, safety sensitive, subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School diploma or G. E. D. equivalent, 1+ years’ experience in a mechanic role or appropriate technical training, U. S. citizenship is required
Nice to Have
Aviation engine overhaul and repair experience, Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant (P) Certificate, Hands-on experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly, or Turbine Engine Test Operations, Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Experience using Microsoft Office applications and SAP
What You'll Do.
and assembly of advanced jet engines
Work as a member of a team responsible for turbine engine
or component maintenance in accordance with published work instructions and approved technical data.
Utilize common hand tools as well as a wide variety of tooling and fixtures to assemble/disassembly and test a jet engine.
Ensure all phases of assembly/disassembly as specified by work instructions
comply with required self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety
Quality and Delivery objectives.
