Full Job Description
Our fleet of vehicles is any Mechanic’s dream job with a vast range ready for your skills, experience, and expertise. You will be handling repairs and maintenance on our vehicles in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. * **Full Time, permanent role** * **Standard Monday to Friday work times (with one day working an extra half hour to make 38-hours per week) but on the rare occasion where weekend work is required – weekend rate will apply** * **Sydney Airport based with f****ree staff parking** **About the role** Your work will reflect our company values and you will ensure company standards are within all appropriate laws and regulations and we are compliant. You will also make sure a safe working environment is always maintained. **What you’ll do** * Servicing vehicles in line with manufacturers’ specifications and company standards, including carrying out minor repairs and preventative maintenance checks on fleet vehicles (e.g. replacing fluids, changing oil/air filter, tyres, brakes, fitting ski racks etc.) including cars, trucks and company fleet. * Monitor inventory and request the order of new parts from Service Administrator Assemble mechanical components according to specifications. * Perform diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems. * Provide assistance to Trade Assistant when required. * Complete Repair Orders and provide breakdown assistance when necessary * Preparing vehicles for hand back and sales. * Testing and general servicing of workshop equipment for safety. * Keeping accurate and on-time job records and recording servicing history in applicable systems * Conducting work in a safe manner, complying with Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental policies, procedures and being familiar with emergency evacuation procedures to eliminate or minimise workplace health and safety risks.
