Full Job Description

**Title:** MCPP: Quality Inspector (Ordnance/Heavy Equipment) * **Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR!** **_THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA_** **Program Summary** The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces. **Job Summary** You will serve as the Internal Quality representative for the Ordnance Section reporting directly to the Quality Manager. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to make decisions that improve Marine Corps Ordnance equipment readiness, maintenance quality, performance, efficiency and customer satisfaction. **Roles and Responsibilities** * Conducts detailed technical inspections on ordnance equipment. * Interpret and communicate technical manual requirements to workforce and management. * Analyze and display Global Combat Support Systems Marine Corps (GCSS-MC), and Marine Corps Preposition Information Center (MCPIC) data to ensure that equipment is ready for delivery to the customer. * Monitor and update the Quality Management System Data Base (eQMS). * Ensure that all customer generated quality complaints are answered properly and in a timely manner. * Interpret the Statement of Work and how it applies to the ordnance section. * Serve as liaison to government Quality Assurance Equipment Specialists, facilitates and maintains an excellent working relationship with all government counterparts. * Monitor the activities of all personnel engaged in the ordnance maintenance process, to improve quality and customer satisfaction. * **Basic Qualifications** * **Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a Secret Security Clearance and maintain it for the duration of your employ
