What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Valid state teaching license with a specialization in Mathematics, Proven experience teaching math, with a track record of improving student outcomes, Experience working in a full room inclusion type model or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room model, High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring, High proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook, Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBICI)

What You'll Do.
Provide targeted math support to students who need it most
Use data-driven strategies and engaging instruction to help students overcome challenges and achieve lasting success
Support the educational and behavioral goals of all students with a focus on students with an Individualized Education Program
Work cooperatively with classroom teachers
interpreting the abilities and disabilities of these students
assisting in classroom intervention strategies
modifying general education curricular as necessary
and assisting the student with regular class assignments
Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction
Relentlessly work to meet all goals related to student achievement and culture as well as state specific achievement goals
Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and instruction
Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices into daily lessons and interactions with students
Serve as advisor for a designated set of students
Communicate regularly with families regarding the academic and social-emotional growth of their child
Participate in the planning and implementation of non-instructional activities such as social events and field trips
Perform other duties as assigned
