Must Have
Associate's degree or equivalent, 2 years of experience, Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, Experience with serialized parts, Experience with lot-controlled parts, Traceability documentation experience, Ability to read drawings, Ability to read BOMs, Ability to read purchase orders, Working knowledge of ITAR/EAR, Forklift certification or ability to obtain
Nice to Have

Role Overview The Materials Specialist is a critical operational role within Heven AeroTech’s Logistics Department, responsible for the accurate and timely management of materials, components, and supplies that support production, assembly, and program delivery. Reporting directly to the Director of Logistics, this individual will coordinate the end-to-end materials lifecycle—from procurement support and receiving through inventory control, kitting, and issuance to manufacturing and engineering teams. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who takes ownership of their work (hungry), collaborates effectively across teams (humble), and exercises sound judgment in managing materials in a regulated environment (smart). The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with aerospace or defense supply chains and a strong commitment to maintaining material integrity and traceability. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/MRP systems, ensuring real-time visibility of stock levels, locations, and status Conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation activities to ensure data integrity Identify, investigate, and escalate discrepancies, shortages, or excess inventory conditions Manage shelf-life, serialized, and lot-controlled materials in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements Process inbound ship
