Materials Management Manager **Company:** The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain is seeking a **Materials Management Manager** (Level K) to support **787 Operations** located in **San Antonio, Texas** on **variable shift. ** You will lead a team who collaborates with supplier management and mechanics on the aircraft (testing, flight readiness), to support Airplane customer delivery for the 787 Program. This role involves leading manager operations including Parts, Tools, Hazmat, and Shipping. **Position Responsibilities:** * Leads a core team of employees and contractors focusing on personal and aircraft safety * Manages, leads, and integrates employees activities across more than one area in materials, part inventory management and fulfillment * Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals * Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements * Develops and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and employees/direct reports * Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes * Manages, coaches, develops and motivates employees **Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment:** To be considered for this position, you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):** * Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course 'Exploring Leadership' * 3+ years of inventory management experience * 3+ years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholders and suppliers * Experience directly interfacing with/supporting customers
