Must Have
Diploma or B. Sc. in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or Materials Engineering, Minimum 7 –10 years' experience in materials inspection on construction projects, at least 5 years on infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, tunnels, utilities), a minimum of 2–3 years in the UAE/GCC, hands-on inspection skills, familiarity with field and laboratory testing equipment, attention to detail, accurate record-keeping, MS Office (Word, Excel), effective communication on site

What You'll Do.
Carry out day-to-day on-site inspection
and testing supervision of construction materials
Ensure materials and workmanship comply with approved submittals
project specifications
and requirements of the Client and relevant Dubai authorities
Support the Material Engineer in the implementation of the project Quality Control system
hands-on monitoring of materials delivered to and used on site
Inspect all construction materials delivered to site
Verify delivery notes
Check material quantities
Reject and segregate non-compliant materials
Carry out and witness sampling of various materials
Ensure sampling frequencies
and labelling comply with standards
Coordinate transport of samples to laboratories
Witness testing at site and external laboratories
Inspect roadworks layers for compliance
Witness compaction tests
Verify asphalt temperatures
Witness core sampling
thickness measurements
and surface regularity checks
Witness concrete pouring activities
Carry out and witness concrete tests
Verify concrete mix delivery tickets
Inspect curing methods

and Work Inspection Requests (WIR)
Issue observation notes and support the preparation of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Report directly to the Material Engineer on all material inspection and testing matters
Coordinate with Site Engineers
and the Contractor's QA/QC team
Attend daily site coordination meetings and material-related technical meetings
Prepare daily and weekly inspection inputs for the Material Engineer's reports

Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible. _**Job Description:**_ **Materials Inspector Dubai, UAE** To carry out day-to-day on-site inspection, sampling, and testing supervision of construction materials on behalf of the Consultant, ensuring that all materials and workmanship comply with approved submittals, project specifications, and the requirements of the Client and relevant Dubai authorities (DM, RTA, DEWA). The Material Inspector supports the Material Engineer in the implementation of the project Quality Control system and provides direct, hands-on monitoring of materials delivered to and used on site. **What You 'll Be Doing** **Receiving Inspection at Site** * Inspect all construction materials delivered to site (aggregates, cement, asphalt, steel, concrete, pipes, ducts, cables, geotextiles, paints, waterproofing, etc.). * Verify delivery notes, mill certificates, batch numbers, manufacturing dates, and shelf life against approved material submittals. * Check material quantities, packaging condition, markings, and traceability. * Reject and segregate any materials that do not comply with approved submittals or project specifications, and report to the Material Engineer. **Sampling & Testing** * Carry out and witness sampling of soils, aggregates, asphalt, concrete, steel, water, and utility materials in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and project specifications. * Ensure sampling frequencies, methods, and labelling comply with ASTM, BS EN, AASHTO, and RTA / DM standards. * Coordinate transport of samples to the site laboratory or to approved third-party DAC-accredited lab
