Full Job Description

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL Conduct cycle counts, thorough investigation and reconciliation of inventory variances, and post cycle counts. Determine root cause issues for inventory discrepancies and communicate / participate in corrective actions. Coordinate and communicate with other shifts to maintain inventory accuracy. Responsible for monitoring progress towards weekly / monthly count requirements and proactively communicate with leadership to ensure goals are met. Participates actively as a team member through lean activities / continuous improvement processes to improve inventory accuracy. Coordinate inventory audits with finance / auditors. Perform 3rd party cycle counts remotely from Dayton THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS High school diploma or G.E.D 1+ years’ experience in warehouse or distribution setting Proficiency with Windows Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards and the Internet Forklift experience preferred Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, and ability to promote compliance with them. Skill in analytical thinking and problem solving. Skill in communicating effectively through oral and written communications. Ability to identify and support continuous improvement. Ability to sustain and drive lean manufacturing and 5S activities. Ability to function in a high stress, high pressure environment, with a positive attitude. Ability to solve ambiguous problems with unique solutions.
