Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Material Specialist with Stockroom experience to join the dynamic team in Huntsville, AL. **_Position Responsibilities:_** * Perform manual and clerical work to receive, store, record, distribute, issue, inventory, identify, sort, count, kit assemble, package, ship, order and requisition material, supplies, parts assemblies, equipment and tools. * Maintain adequate stock on hand as needs and requirements determine. * Use and operate records systems and equipment. * Order tools, parts, prints, specifications and material to support shop operations. * Expedite the supply of needed items by liaison, coordination and follow up with others. * Prepare and maintain regular and requested reports, charts, graphs and status of work operations information. * Recognize, identify and report critical supply problems and take or recommend corrective action. **This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.** An active U.S. Secret clearance is required. **_Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):_** * High School Diploma or GED. * Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory, stock or supply chain. * Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience. **_Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):_** * Experience handling and disposing of hazardous materials per government regulations. * Experience with MS Office Suite. **_Conflict of Interest:_** Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. **_Additional Information:_** * This is an hourly position governed by the IAMAW 2766 Collective Bargaining agreement. * The selected candidate must be able to work any shift based on seniority an
