Must Have

Experience working in the DoD Aerospace & Defense industry, Ability to get a Secret Security Clearance at time of hire

Nice to Have

ASCM CPIM or CSCP experience, Planning experience, Proficient in ERP/MRP business systems, Microsoft Project experience, Experience managing to a budget, Experience providing inputs into or reviewing EACs, Experience collaborating with the Subcontract Administrator to review statements of work (SOW) that are complete and conform to program requirements, Experience in electronics/aerospace hardware applications as well as knowledge of operational and manufacturing processes (assembly, integration, and test), Experience converting business area and customer requirements into executable strategies, Experience leading in an Integrated Program Team (IPT) environment, Knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations (FAR)

What You'll Do.

Manage all material activities needed to meet program requirements

Ensure link within and between various materials functions

coordinate and execute program material strategies

Lead front end of business planning activities

Develop and execute material program plans

Manage subcontract plans

Balance strategic thinking with tactical application

Create schedule for projects based on MRP

Develop and lead planning related proposal activities

Develop accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs)

Control changes in BOM during proposal process

Flow changes to material estimating

Develop strategy to get representative costs

Navigate obsolescence

long lead and last time buy material situations

Ensure program schedules are met

Actively engage in proposals

Manage material actual cost vs should cost

Execute makebuy/where process

Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans

Monitor performance metrics

Proactively act to address program and functional issues

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Partnering with program, engineering, and operations leadership; Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations; Partnering with Product Management; Collaborating with supply chain functions for support as needed; Experience collaborating with the Subcontract Administrator; Experience leading in an Integrated Program Team (IPT) environment
