What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM), Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 6 years’ experience., Minimum 5 years experience in supplier management, project management and/or program management, Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project), Active and transferable U. S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date., U. S. citizenship is required, as only U. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Nice to Have
Experience working in the defense industry within the supply chain function, Experience purchasing assemblies for military applications, Experience using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools, including MRP (Kinaxis/ SAP/PRISM)
What You'll Do.
Drive processes to successful completion in support of a very aggressive schedule of deliveries
Oversee GSC proposal execution performance and reporting
Provide MRP support and production alignment in support of Operations execution
Use critical thinking skills to propose sound and innovative business solutions to increase operational efficiencies to ensure business area and program success.
Manage multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Process information from multiple sources to achieve a successful outcome
Identify/Generate material R&Os in alignment with program execution
Communicate and translate Program requirements to critical suppliers
Conduct supplier engagements related to capability
Collect and analyze performance metrics and contribute to EAC reporting/performance
Ensure supplier is supporting MRP
Develop and execute Risk/Opportunity plans to meet program responsibilities & proactively manage mitigation plans
Monitor performance metrics and proactively address program and functional issues
Act as key supplier and customer interface
including building Program and supplier relationships and leading weekly and quarterly engagements
Proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within the supplier’s performance
Facilitate necessary product and process changes through collaboration with suppliers and Engineering/Quality.
Facilitate resolution of product non-conformances
Actively participate in program/engineering reviews and change boards
Obtain MPM certification
