What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree required, SAP experience in SAP module Material Management, 5 plus years’ experience in Procurement / Material Planning / Material Management, Leadership experience, 10% travel domestic and international is required, Legal authorization to work in the U. S. is required
Nice to Have
Masters degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Mgt, Experience in electronic data interchange (EDI), Experience with PowerBI and data analytics, Experience in the automotive industry, aftermarket or auto distribution, APICS (now ASCM) CPIM / CSCP certification
What You'll Do.
Disciplinary responsibility for all Material Planners
Determine and organize daily activities and prioritize tasks
Monitor KPI’s to measure and manage the performance of the Material Planning Department
Review and analyze the material planning parameters
Lead monthly Volume Review Meetings with Product Management/Sales
Manage Talent Management process for Procurement Department
Coach team members during critical supply issues
Represent the department in meetings
Determine project activities between suppliers and internal departments
Collaborate on projects with internal and external business partners in IT for EDI and SAP Material Management
Act as material planner and manage certain supplier accounts
Act as key user for supplier data maintenance
Initiate meetings with product management or related departments
Implement Terms & Conditions as negotiated by Purchasing
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Interacts with suppliers, with other departments in the company, and to a high degree with other Supply Chain Management personnel; Determine project activities between suppliers and internal departments, e. g. Customer Service, Warehouse, Finance, Sales; Collaborate on projects with internal and external business partners in IT for EDI and SAP Material Management; Represent the department in meetings and be a part of the decision-making processes and interaction with all levels of Management within the company and with external business partners
Communication Scope
High degree of communication skills; Communicate to the track and monitor achievement to KPIs; Communicate to the track and monitor achievement to KPIs
