What You'll Do.
Act as a safety leader
Manage all purchase orders
Maintain purchase orders on logs
Distribute purchase orders
Determine disposition of film
Manage raw material inventory
Prepare monthly charts on aged inventories
Distribute aged inventory charts
Coordinate transfer of required raw materials
Secure required materials from other plants
Assist in resolution of materials inventory location problems
Work with resin handlers on resin issues
Coordinate with railroad on needs
Oversee material management for facility
Meet production schedules
Confirm order acknowledgement
Manage raw material requisitions
Manage oversize stock usage
Manage raw material claim management
Communicate claim status
Oversee raw material schedules
Coordinate scheduling of material
Participate in production meetings
Provide updates to departmental KPIs
Participate in WCOM team
Support cost saving initiatives
Support process improvement initiatives
Act as back-up to other Materials Planning positions
Act as back-up to scheduling
Establish inventory levels
